LAHORE, March 31: Khalid Latif will lead a 14-member Pakistan Academy team, which is touring Bangladesh from April 14.

The squad will feature in a triangular series, also involving the academy teams of Bangladesh and South Africa. After the tri-series Pakistan and Bangladesh will play two four-day games.

Khurram Manzoor has been named as vice-captain of the squad.

Meanwhile, in a surprising move, the PCB replaced Aaqib Javed with Ijaz Ahmed as coach of the team.

The PCB chairman had named Aaqib as coach but later Ijaz, who was fielding coach of the Pakistan Under-19 team that lost the World Cup recently, was elevated as the academy team coach.

Squad:

Khalid Latif (captain), Khurram Manzoor (vice-captain), Raheel Majeed, Asad Shafiq, Ali Asad, Ahmed Shahzad, Azhar Ali, Naeem Anjum (wicket-keeper), Anwar Ali, Adil Raza, Mohammad Aamir, Azharullah, Imad Wasim, Yasir Shah.

Officials: Azhar Zaidi (manager), Ijaz Ahmed (coach), Saboor (trainer), Adeel Bajwa (physio), Umar Farooq (analyst).
