TANK, March 31: A suspected militant was killed in an exchange of fire with security forces at a checkpoint near here on Monday.
Police said that the clash took place at the Luqman checkpoint on the Tank-Jandola road at about 12 noon.
They said that law-enforcement personnel were searching passengers at a checkpoint when one of the passengers, Sarwar Khan of South Waziristan, refused to be searched.
