GUJRANWALA, March 31: Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran on Monday announced the launch of the Department of Communication Studies at the PU Gujranwala Campus from September next.

The vice-chancellor was addressing the faculty and students during his first visit to the Gujranwala Campus. He also announced 20 computers and Rs100,000 cash prize for creative students and employees of the campus.

Gujranwala Campus Director-General Prof Dr Liaqat Ali was also present on the occasion.

Earlier, the vice-chancellor visited the under-construction building of the Department of Communication Studies and directed the project director to accomplish the work within the given schedule.
