ISLAMABAD, April 20: The Central Board of Revenue has said that there was no proposal under consideration to eliminate exemptions on pension and commutation of pension, cost of living allowance received by public and private sector employees.
“It is true to the extent that the government is considering the elimination of a number of income tax exemptions with effect from July 1,” said CBR spokesman Vakil Ahmed Khan on Saturday.—Reporter
