DERA ISMAIL KHAN, April 20: Construction of a mosque, named after Babri Masjid, is in full swing; and a simple and old but very excited landlord, is financing the construction of the mosque at Shorkot.

It is learnt that Haji Ghulam Yasin Kaheera, a landlord in Shorkot, was so much shocked by the destruction of Babri Masjid in India that he announced on oath that he would construct a Babri Masjid.

During few years after the demolition of Babri Masjid by the Hindu zealots, he put all his agricultural land on sale. On the other hand, he contacted various people to get the know-how about the real layout of the Babri Masjid. In this context, he also visited the Pakistan Television Headquarters for a number of times.

Recently, not only he received a handsome amount against his lands but was provided with the actual plan of the Babri Masjid. Following which, he initiated the construction work which is now in full swing.

The under-construction Babri Masjid resembles very much the actual one. A number of other Muslims have also joined hands with Haji Yasin and have provided finances for the project.

According to him, it would be a blow to the Indian government and the extremist Hindus of India.
