Karachi win in school cricket

KARACHI, March 25: Karachi beat Quetta by five wickets in the PCB Inter-region School Cricket Championship at the Academy Ground here on Monday.

Abid Ali made 58 off 102 balls with seven boundaries as Quetta Region, batting first, totalled 107 all out in 32.4 overs.

Farhan Anwar, Bilal Manzoor and Wasim Tahir took three wickets each for 10, 17 and 16 runs respectively.

Karachi Region, in reply, reached the target in 20.4 overs while losing five wickets. Abdullah top-scored with 39.
