MUZAFFARGARH, March 23: Women activist Mukhtar Mai has arranged the Result Declaration Day of her organisation’s three schools in Mirwala on Tuesday (tomorrow) and a special ceremony in this connection will be attended by foreign delegates as well.

The Mukhtar Mai Organisation has set up three schools where free of cost education is provided to over 600 local students, especially belonging to riverian belt. The students are also provided free pick and drop facility.

Mai told Dawn that foreign human rights activists and donors come here every year on March 25 to attend the grand ceremony as well as to watch the activities of her organisation. This year, she added, delegates belonging to a Canadian donors’ agency would be attending the ceremony.

Mai said that parents of the students used to feel shy while attending the ceremony three years ago, but now they were anxiously waiting for the big day. — Correspondent
