KARACHI, March 20: The Special Anti-corruption Court, Central, on Thursday condoned the absence of Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari from the hearing of the container case.
The court fixed May 24 as the next date of hearing.
The defence counsel, Shahadat Awan, submitted an application stating that being co-chairman of the PPP, his client was busy meeting political leaders in connection with the formation of a government.—A Reporter
