Abduction: demo against police

OKARA, March 19: Victim’s family and the area people staged a protest rally against the Deepalpur police for their failure to recover a child kidnapped some 17 days back.

Reports said Adeel Anwar (7) of Afzal Colony was allegedly kidnapped from a nearby market on March 2. Muhammad Anwer, the victim’s father, along with his friend demonstrated outside the police station. They were also carrying banners and placards inscribed with anti-police slogans.

KILLED: A speeding tractor hit and killed a minor boy in Luddewal village.

Four-year old Badr was crossing the road when the incident occurred.

Police have registered a case.
