HYDERABAD, April 18: The chief of the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf, Imran Khan, who arrived here on Thursday evening, was given a big reception at the Toll Plaza by Mir Haider Ali Khan Talpur and brought to the Kotri Cricket ground in a motorcade of over 100 vehicles.

A reception was also hosted in his honour by the Kotri Cricket Association.

Later, he attended a reception at Hussainabad hosted by Kamal Siddiqui.

In his short speech, he said that Pakistan was passing through a very difficult phase and joint efforts were needed to eliminate poverty, unemployment and illiteracy from the country.

Later, he was taken to the lands of Mir Haider Ali Khan Talpur at Chukhi at the outskirts of Hyderabad where he spoke at a big public meeting.

Mir Haider Ali Khan Talpur has been appointed as provincial president of the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf.
