MARDAN, March 17: Manga village residents blocked Mardan-Charsadda road for hours against the kidnapping of a boy at gunpoint from the area here on Monday.
The boy Wisal Khan son of Syed Rassan Khan was abducted by unidentified persons when he was on his way to his house at Manga village some 10 kilometres from here on Monday morning.
Residents of the area, while protesting the kidnapping of the boy, blocked the main Mardan-Charsadda road for hours.
However, they lifted the blockade on the assurance by the local police that they will recover the kidnapped boy soon.
