LAHORE, March 14: The day-long 3rd Punjab Junior rugby championship 2008 for schools will be held here at the Garrison Degree College ground on Saturday.

Twenty-four teams — 12 each in the U-14 and U-17 categories — would be divided into four pools where the matches will be played on a round robin basis.

The same event last year saw Garrison Boys High School, Lahore, as the winners in the U-14 category while Bahawalpur High School were the runners-up. In the U-17 category, Bahawalnagar High School were the winners while Trust High School, Lahore, claimed the second spot.—Sports Reporter
