Noman, Adnan shine

KARACHI, March 14: Pacer Noman Ali’s four-wicket haul and Adnan Raza’s fine half-century propelled the United Bank Ltd (UBL) to a 61-run win over the Income Tax team in the Hinopak Trophy-KCCA Interdepartmental cricket tournament at the UBL Sports Complex on Thursday.

Adnan (61) hit three sixes and a boundary as the UBL posted 265 all out in 44.1 overs. Income Tax team, in reply, were bowled out for 204 in 40.2 overs. Noman Ali claimed four wickets for 24.

Meanwhile, in another match Dewan Farooq Motors Ltd (DFML) outplayed Pak Saudi International by 141 runs at the KCCA Stadium.

Nasir Khan claimed four wickets for 33 to bowl his side to victory.
