LAHORE, March 13: The police on Thursday held 15 activists of banned religious outfits from different parts of the city in connection with the Tuesday’s blasts at FIA building on Temple Road and an advertising agency in Model Town.

CCPO Malik Iqbal told Dawn no suspected terrorist involved in the blasts had been arrested as yet, however, the police had arrested over one dozen of activists of two banned religious for interrogation. The police had to investigate their role as ‘facilitators’. He hoped the two investigation teams probing the blasts would soon find a clue to the culprits.

Meanwhile, Rangers have been deployed at Pakistan Television and Radio Pakistan buildings as part of security measures to deal with any untoward incident. —Staff Reporter
