HYDERABAD: Shopkeepers protest

HYDERABAD, March 13: Shopkeepers of Resham Bazaar staged a rally outside the press club here on Thursday to protest against publication of blasphemous cartoons in Danish newspapers. A large number of traders and civil society members participated in the rally.

Speaking on the occasion, Tariq Shaikh, Mohammad Rashid, Abdul Qayoom and others said that the European countries had not paid heed to protest demonstrations in the Muslim world.—Bureau
