LAHORE, March 12: Two-goal Shaukat Malik along with a 2 1/2 handicap helped Pakistan Air Force (PAF) beat Askari Bank 6 1/2-5 here in the Pakistan Polo Cup on Wednesday.

The first chukker saw the winners acquire a 3 1/2-2 lead due to handicap advantage. The bankers made a stormy start through Pablo Bagnardi, who struck back to back goals but Shaukat fired his first, converting a 40-yard penalty to increase the lead.

The winners gained a 4 1/2-3 lead in the second chukker as Mashud scored a field goal after a long chase of the ball. Bagnardi, who scored four altogether, hit his third in the dying moments of the match.
