Bahawalpur crush Nepal

LAHORE, March 5: Unbeaten knocks by openers Ayaz and Rashid helped Bahawalpur outgun Nepal by 10 wickets in the one-day cricket match played at Dring Stadium in Bahawalpur on Wednesday.

Batting first, Nepal posted 183 for 9 in the allotted 40 overs. In reply, Bahawalpur reached the target in just 18.2 overs as openers Ayaz and Rashid scored unbeaten half-centuries.

The Nepal team is currently on Pakistan tour to play matches against various regional teams.

The tourists will play their next match against Islamabad at the PAF ground in Islamabad on Saturday.
