MIRPURKHAS: Hunger strike

MIRPURKHAS, March 3: Activists of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz observed token hunger strike and staged demonstration outside the Mirpurkhas Press Club to protest detention of the JSQM General Secretary, Dr Safdar Sarki.

Protesters carried banners and placards and demanded immediate release of Dr Sarki.

RALLY: A rally to celebrate the victory of spiritual leader Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi in general elections was taken out by the Ghausia Jamat District Mirpurkhas from the Railway Station Chowk.—BoC
