BADIN, April 15: Entire business activities remained suspended as traders observed complete strike in Rajo Khanani town, some 13 kms from here, on Monday against the shortage of water in Sultani Wah.

A protest rally was taken out by the growers, traders, and citizens. It was led by Ali Akbar Khan Nizamani and Union Council Rajo Khanani Nazim, Atta M. Talpur.

Later, they observed a sit-in on the Sultani Wah bridge for three hours as a result of which traffic to Talhar, Hyderabad and other towns was suspended.

The protesters said that they had not received water in the Sultani Wah since the last four months. They demanded equal distribution of water.—Correspondent
