Mansoor joins as PCB media director

LAHORE, Feb 28: Mansoor Sohail, a senior officer of Pakistan Information Service, took over as Director Media of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) here on Thursday.

Prior to his new assignment, Mansoor was serving as Director General External Publicity Wing, Islamabad. He had been appointed as PCB’s director media a few months ago but could not assume the duties due to his official engagements.

“My immediate priority is to create liaison between the PCB and media,” he said here.

Mansoor is one of Pakistan’s top media managers with a vast experience of nearly thirty years. He has served as Press Minister in Pakistan embassy in New York, Director General, Public Relations Punjab, Additional Secretary, Information Punjab besides serving at important positions at the Ministry of Information, Islamabad.
