LAHORE, Feb 26: Eight more matches were decided on the second day of the Punjab Under-17 inter-district football championship underway at different grounds here on Tuesday.

The solitary goal from Wajid Bilal helped Bhakhar earn a 1-0 win against Sheikhupura.

Two-goal Rashid Ali enabled Pakpattan to outplay Dera Ghazi Khan 4-0 after a goalless first half. Maqsood Ahmad and Jawwad Safdar scored one goal apiece.

Layyah brushed aside Mianwali 3-0 with Mazhar Elahi, Muzammal and Adnan as the scorers. Khanewal beat Hafizabad 1-0 with Muneeb Mirza scoring the lone goal.

Muqeem and Imran Ali scored one each to help Mandi Bahauddin beat Kasur 2-0.

Toba Tek Singh played a 1-1 drawn game against Gujrat. Atiq-ur-Zaman banged home one for Gujrat while Irfan restored the parity.

Khushab and Jhang also locked in a 1-1 draw with Dawood scoring for the former while Umair equalled for the latter.

Gujranwala held Jhelum to a 1-1 draw.
