KARACHI, April 14: Federal Information Minister Nisar Memon has said that the scheduled general elections will be held on a party basis in October.
Talking to newsmen at a local hotel on Sunday he said people should not be misled by politicians who were trying to create confusion among the masses by saying that general elections will not be held once the forthcoming referendum was over.
He said holding of referendum did not mean that elections would not be held.
