Two die in landmine explosion

JACOBABAD, Feb 25: Two persons died when their motorcycle hit a landmine adjacent to Sindh-Balochistan border in the jurisdiction of the RD-109 police station near Kashmore on Monday.

The victims were on their way to home when their motorcycle hit a landmine as result of which Bahauddin and Shah Dino received serious injuries. They died on their way to a Kandhkot hospital.

Meanwhile, nine houses were gutted when fire broke out due to short circuit in Sardar Zulfiqar Sarki village in Thull on Monday. Besides damaging nine houses, it damaged a tractor, and a motorcycle, armaments, jewellery, cash and other household items.
