KARACHI: PN man dies in accident

KARACHI, Feb 22: A navy employee was killed and his wife injured when a Parado jeep knocked down their motorcycle on the Northern Bypass.

Saeedabad police said Asghar Hussain, 45, and Husna, 40, were on way to their Naval Colony house in Maripur at around 1pm when the jeep hit them.

They said the man died instantly and his wife was admitted to the PNS Shifa hospital in a critical condition.

The police said the jeep also overturned and skidded off the road. However, they said, the driver escaped.—Staff Repoter
