Sycophants start wooing new bosses

Published February 21, 2008

GUJRANWALA, Feb 20: Many government officials, including police officers, have reportedly started visiting the residences of MNAs and MPAs-elect of the PML-N and the PPP to felicitate them over their poll success, offering them their ‘services’, Dawn learnt on Wednesday.

It was learnt that some senior government functionaries were found tracing the mobile numbers of the parliamentarians elect to ‘clarify’ their role in the recently concluded election.

However, the new rulers were behaving normally towards these sycophants.

The most keen to please their new bosses are said to be the SHOs who had been supporting the former ruling party’s influential members and harassing their rivals.
