HYDERABAD: Polling officials replaced

HYDERABAD, Feb 17: A presiding officer and an assistant presiding officer of a polling station in Kotri taluka were replaced on charges of breaking the seal of ballot papers.

The Pakistan People’s Party candidate for NA-231 Nawab Ghani Talpur said that he informed the DRO after his workers told him that a presiding officer of polling station-3 in Khuda Ki Basti in NA-231 constituency had broken the seal of ballots.

The assistant returning officer (ARO) rushed to the place and replaced the two officials, he said and demanded that all the staff of the polling station should be changed.
