Sindh Amateur Golf from March 21

KARACHI, Feb 16: The three-day Sindh Amateur Golf Championship will be held at Arabian Sea Country Club (ASCC) from March 21-23, Sindh Golf Association (SGA) announced here on Saturday.

Around 100 golfers would be featuring in the five events which includemain amateur competition, Seniors, Juniors, Ladies and veteran contests, Secretary SGA Asad I.A. Khan said.The event was originally scheduled to be held from Feb 15 to 17 but was postponed because of elections set for the 18th.

The main event, to be spread over three days, will be played over 54 holes while seniors, juniors and ladies events will be of 36 holes each while the veterans will play on 18 holes.

Fast emerging youngster Ayaz Gul will defend his title in the main competition.— APP
