PESHAWAR, Feb 15: Police continued its crackdown on suspected trouble-makers for the third day on Friday and arrested more than 1,000 people, most of them Afghan nationals.

He said hotels and some other places were being searched for suspects.

Security, he said, had been beefed up and people were being checked at all entry and exits points of the city.

Officials have been asked to check suspected people.
