KOHAT, Feb 8: The security forces set on fire the house of a militant commander in Mazid Khel area of Darra Adamkhel, a town in frontier region of Kohat, officials told Dawn on Friday.

The personnel of Frontier Constabulary and Frontier Corps carried out a joint search operation in the area on Thursday and burnt the house of militant commander Tariq, which was used as headquarters of Taliban during the Darra Adamkhel operation, the official said.

In another development an unknown organisation with the name of Al Hizb distributed leaflets in the Darra Adamkhel bazaar in which it declared the militant commanders Tariq, Momin and Arif, who had gone into hiding after the operation, as murderers.
