BAHAWALPUR, Feb 7: Political parties came under criticism for not implementing manifestos after winning elections at a seminar organized by the People’s Awareness and Rights Forum here.

Speakers said that elected representatives of political parties never realized to honour their promises and assurances made during the election campaign.

Forum coordinator Akram Nasir and representatives of political parties including, PPP’s Khan Muhammad Hussain Azad, PML-N’s Samiullah Chaudhry and human rights office-bearers, urged the political parties to struggle for the restoration of independent judiciary and deposed judges.
