MANSEHRA, Feb 7: A soldier of Pakistan Rangers was killed and nine others sustained serious injuries when a Rawalpindi-bound passenger bus fell into a deep ravine near Mara Basham here on Thursday.

Officials said that passenger bus bearing registration number GLT-5819 was on its way to Rawalpindi from Gilgit when driver lost its control while negotiating a sharp turn.

The bus fell into a deep ravine as a result sepoy Mohammad Fazal died on the spot.

The injured were admitted to local hospitals. The injured identified as Mohammad Huseen, Mohammad Taib, Tabraz, Hawaldar Mohammad Nazim, Naik Ali Hader,

Faizur Rehman, Akbar Shah, Jannat Bagum and his son whose name could not be ascertained.
