Steel mill worker killed

ISLAMABAD, Feb 3: A labourer was killed after being caught in a hydraulic rolling machine at a steel mill here on Sunday, police said.

The deceased was identified as Laeeqzada (38), a resident of Mardan, who was employed at Ittehad Steel Mills located in the Industrial Area. After receiving fatal injuries in the incident, he was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Akram lodged a complaint with the Industrial Area police, stating that his car (LOG-2411) was stolen from outside of his friend’s house in Sector I-8/1.—Staff Reporter
