Pakistan have played most ODIs

FAISALABAD, Jan 30: Pakistan became the country with the highest number of One-day Internationals after the fourth game of the series against Zimbabwe at the Iqbal Stadium here on Wednesday.

The Faisalabad match has increased Pakistan’s world record tally of limited-overs games to 673.

Ever since their first ever ODI against New Zealand at Christchurch in February 1973, Pakistan, to date, have recorded 360 wins and 292 losses, besides six tied games while 15 contests involving Pakistan ended as no result. Interestingly, India are behind Pakistan by a difference of only one match (672). The Indians have so far recorded 318 ODI wins, conceded 323 defeats, 28 of their games concluded with no result while three matches finished as tied.

World champions Australia are at the third spot with 669 games with a record 412 wins under their belt, 229 losses, eight tied competitions and 20 producing no result.
