2 killed in accidents

ISLAMABAD, Jan 27: Two pedestrians were killed in road accidents, while the body of a teenager was found here on Sunday, police said.

Mohammad Arif, a resident of Peshawar, suffered fatal injuries when a car hit him while he was crossing the Murree Road near the Margalla Town.

The vehicle also overturned in the accident, leaving three of its occupants injured.

The victims were taken to the Rawalpindi General Hospital, where doctors pronounced Mr Arif dead.

The others - Shaikh Ahmad, his son Hassan and Rifaqat - are stated to be in stable condition.

Similarly, a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Sector G-10/4.

Ghulam Mohammad suffered multiple injures when the vehicle hit him while he was crossing a road. He was shifted to a hospital where he died after succumbing to his injuries.

BODY FOUND: The body of a teenager was found at a plot located in Shahpur, Bhara Kahu.

The incident came to light when the land owner informed the police that a body was lying inside a tent pitched for his watchman. —Staff Reporter
