LAKKI MARWAT, Jan 26: The Sarhad College Teachers Association (SCTA) Bannu Division on Saturday held a demonstration in the district headquarters complex Tajazai to protest the abduction of two lecturers.

Teachers from Lakki Marwat, Bannu and Kohat districts participated in the protest rally which was taken out from Tajazai Chowk. The rally reached the district headquarters complex after marching on the Lakki-Tajazai road.

The SCTA provincial president Prof Sabz Ali Khan Marwat led the rally that culminated in front of the office of District Coordination Officer (DCO). Former MPA and a candidate for PF-74 Lakki Marwat-I Zafrullah Khan Marwat also participated in the rally to express solidarity with the college staff in their struggle to secure safe release of their colleagues.
