MITHI, Jan 22: A head constable, who was serving as traffic incharge here, has been posted as an incharge SHO of a police station in Mithi, district headquarters of Tharparkar.

The new incharge SHO Allah Jurio Saher, reportedly a Pakistan Muslim League sympathiser, got it announced through ‘drum beating’ on Tuesday for the information of general public that if anybody was found out of home, walking or roaming after 9pm, he would be taken to task.

In case of an emergency, one being taken to hospital should inform the watchman of his area in this regard, the announcement said.

Owners of hotels and inns have been directed to keep their record up to date for police checking.

It is beyond people’s comprehension that for what reason a head constable has been posted as SHO, while a good number of senior SHOs have been ignored for such posting.
