Umpires for one-dayers

KARACHI, April 6: The Pakistan Cricket Board Saturday named home umpires for the three-match one-day series against New Zealand.

Former Test spinner Nadeem Ghauri will be the umpire for the first match scheduled in Karachi on April 21. Siddique Khan will stand in the second game at Rawalpindi on April 24 while Aleem Dar will officiate the last match at Lahore on April 27.

Jamaican Steve Bucknor has already been named as ICC’s umpire for the one-dayers and two Tests programmed at Lahore (May 1-5) and at Karachi (May 8-12). He will be assisted by South African Rudi Koertzen.

The PCB also named other umpires for the one-dayers. They are:

First one-dayer: Saleem Badar (TV umpire), Afzaal Ahmad (reverse umpire)

Second one-dayer: Asad Rauf (TV umpire), Z.I Pasha (reserve umpire)

Third one-dayer: Mian Aslam (TV umpire), Nadeem Ghauri (reserve umpire)

First Test: Aleem Dar (TV umpire), Asad Rauf (reserve umpire)

Second Test: Riazuddin (TV umpire), Saleem Badar (reserve umpire)
