Four die, 14 injured as van overturns

THATTA, Jan 14: Four people were killed and 14 others suffered serious injuries when their van overturned and plunged into a ditch after its tyre burst near Dewan City, some 45 kilometres from here on Monday.

Moinuddin of Quaidabad Karachi, Mohammad Aqil, an accountant at Dewan Sugar Mills and two others whose names could not be ascertained till the filing of this report died on the spot.

The injured Shujaat, Tariq, Aziz, Shaukat, Faiz, Mohammad, Shahnawaz, Hashim, Mohammad Essa, Bachai and four unidentified people were moved to nearby Dewan Medical Complex.
