MITHI, Jan 13: The PPP hopefuls from Thar have appealed to the chief justice of High Court of Sindh to fill four vacant posts of judges in Tharparkar district. These positions were lying vacant since the announcement of election schedule.

In a press release, PPP candidates, including Mahesh Kumar Malani, Imam Ali Samejo, Pesumal Akrani, Wali Mohammad Rahimoon, Dost Mohammad Rahimoon and Sharjeel Inam Memon, contended that due to absence of DJ and ADJs, the PPP was facing difficulties in seeking bails for those activists who were arrested after December 27 violence.
