PARACHINAR, Jan 11: A curfew in force in Kurram tribal agency since Nov 16 was lifted on Friday as a mark of respect for the holy month of Muharram.
The curfew was clamped following violent clashes in which dozens of people were killed.
Tribal elders and the political administration are trying to work out a durable peace agreement among the warring groups which have declared a truce till January 15.—Correspondent
