LAHORE, Jan 10: Pakistan will be taking part in the second AFC Challenge Cup 2008, to be held in India now from March 1 to 16.

Some 20 low-ranking teams from Asia are expected to take part in the event which was shifted from Chinese Taipei to India after the country failed to meet certain AFC requirements. Though offered to Thailand after that, it was awarded to India when Thailand too expressed its inability to host the tournament.
