LAHORE, Jan 9: Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) on Wednesday awarded a year’s extension to Irfan Niazi as manager of the Pakistan national teams. The Mianwali-born Irfan will manage the teams until Dec 31, 2008 after the successful handling of teams in 2006 and 2007.

Irfan’s first assignment in 2008 will be Thailand’s second AFC Challenge Cup which will commence on March 1, 2008.
