DADU, Jan 6: Local leaders of PML-Q women wing and vice president of youth wing of PML-Q along with a large number of supporters and activists joined PML-N here on Saturday.

Hasina Almani, a local leader of PML-Q and 40 activists besides vice president of PML-Q youth wing, Laloo Solangi with a group of 20 activists joined PML-N.

The announcement was made by the PML-Q leaders at the residence of district president of PML-N women wing, Ms Zahida Bhand. President of PML-N women wing Sindh, Ms Sorath Thebo, district president Hamid Bhand and Aziz Rajput were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Sorath Thebo said that many PML-Q leaders and influential personalities were in her contact and hoped that they would soon join PML-N.

She said that PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto was killed because she wanted to give equal rights to all citizens. She said that Ms Bhutto was not only a national but an internationally acclaimed leader. She demanded investigation in the murder of Ms Bhutto through United Nations.

COLD WAVE: The district remained in the grip of cold wave on Saturday. People were seen purchasing warm clothes. According to reports, about 10 people collapsed due to severe cold who were admitted to civil and private hospitals.
