Mai’s open court

MUZAFFARGARH, Jan 4: Woman rights activist Mukhtar Mai will hold an open court on Jan 12 at a local hotel.

She said the women victimized by their husbands and relatives would be invited to attend the court. She said the victimized women would be encouraged to raise their voice against the oppressors.

Mai said that several women were facing cruelties at the hands of their husbands and other people in the Muzaffargarh district. A committee would be constituted to look after the interests of such women, she said.
