Bus-stand remains unused

Published April 4, 2002

CHITRAL, April 3: The general bus-stand constructed by the defunct municipal committee, Chitral, has not been in use since its construction some eight years ago. Situated at a far place of the city, Daneen Lasht, the bus stand is inaccessible for the public.

The local drivers union and the transporters have foiled all attempts of shifting to the new bus stand. As a result of the indecision of the administration, many bus stands have been established by the transporters in every crowded place of the city.
