LAHORE, Dec 30: The price of LPG gas has risen up to 40 per cent in the last three days while its availability is also a big issue as most of the LPG outlets are closed.

The LPG retail price issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority was Rs61 per kilogramme (kg) and the LPG Distributors Association and the City District Government of Lahore had accepted the revision.

But before Eidul Azha, the sellers increased the prices from Rs61 to Rs75 per kg while in the last three days shopkeepers increased the price from Rs70 to

Rs100. Now the LPG gas is available on Rs85 to 100 in the city.

The LPG is being sold at Rs95 to Rs100 in Bhatta Chowk, Badian Road and Defence while at Walton Road, Ferozepur Road and Wahdat Road the price is Rs85 per kg.—APP
