PESHAWAR, Dec 25: Pakistan Television’s Urdu drama serial, Doosri Dastak, would go on air on Wednesday. The drama has been produced by the Peshawar centre.

Written by Nasim Nasir and starred by Najibullah Anjum, Javaid Babar, Safia Rani, Najeeba Faiz, Hina Minhas, Sameena Sahar, Wadood Manzar, Tariq Khan, Shamil Khan and others, the drama revolves around the social problems coupled with romance.

Director Aziz Aijaz says the 14-episode serial has been shot in scenic places.

Briefing newsmen on Tuesday, the director said each of the 50-minute episodes portrayed an amalgamation of social activities and romance.

PTV Peshawar centre general manager Farmanullah Jan said all staff members had put in their best efforts to make the project a success.

Farmanullah Jan said that in the presence of dozens of satellite channels, PTV could only retain its viewership by producing best quality programmes.
