KARACHI, Dec 25: Two men were found dead in what police believed to be the cases of suicide and a young man was stabbed to death by his cousin in different areas of the city on Tuesday.

Brigade police said that 25-year-old Adnan hanged himself to death in Jacob Lines. Hailing from Multan, he resided with his one of his friends Ghulam Farid in a rented house.

Police said, “Shabbir left home early morning and found Adnan hanging with a ceiling fan as he returned in the evening.”

In Memon Goth, 30-year-old Hussain was found hanging inside his residence. Police suspect unemployment as a reason behind the suicide.

In Shah Faisal Colony, Nadim was stabbed to death allegedly by his cousin Tauseef over a property dispute.

Police said after an exchange of words Nadim and Tauseef scuffled with each other. In the brawl, Tauseef overpowered his cousin and stabbed him with a kitchen knife, police said, adding that the alleged killer escaped immediately after the incident. Shah Faisal Colony police said they were waiting for the deceased’s family before lodging an FIR on behalf of the state.
