Champion of Hills cycle race tomorrow

ISLAMABAD, Dec 23: Champion of Hills, a 75km national-level cycling event in which all the affiliated units of the Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) — Army, Railways, Wapda, Sui Southern Gas Co., as well as the four provinces and FATA — have confirmed their participation, begins Tuesday (Dec 25) at the Army Sports Stadium, Rawalpindi, at 1000 hours, to terminate at Murree, at about 1230 hours, says a press release.

Organised in accordance with the birthday celebrations of Pakistan’s founder, the Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the race is being provided necessary support for security, controlling of traffic movement, medical cover throughout the route by the district administration, traffic police department, health department and the Edhi Centre.

The winners will be awarded cash prizes by the PCF.
