KOHAT, Dec 23: The authorities have failed to find the whereabouts of four boys who went missing five days ago in Darra Adamkhel, the Frontier Region of Kohat, sources said.

The missing boys were carrying cable equipment from Lahore to Kohat via Peshawar when armed men kidnapped them along with their car on Wednesday.

The victims include the son of a lady councillor, Ajmal, and a cable technician from Lahore whose name could not be ascertained.

The two other abductees were identified as Waqas, son of Tajammul, and Waseem Zubair, residents of Mohallah Sikandar Khan Shaheed, Kohat.

The kidnappers also took away their car (LWF-5336).

One of the kidnapped persons called his home on Wednesday and told his parents that they had been kidnapped by tribesmen in the Akhorwal area of Darra Adamkhel and they should immediately contact the local Taliban for their release, relatives said.
